The local golf passes offer excellent mid-week or weekend value and as members of the Golf South Ayrshire Coast Card Scheme we can arrange tee-off times for all Ayrshire courses and offer reduced rates on South Ayrshire courses.

Ayrshire also boasts 3 Open Golf Championship courses. This includes the iconic Turnberry, Royal Troon & Prestwick, the birthplace of The Open Championship. Gold packages or special rates on these courses are available on request.

Ayrshire Open Qualifier Card

Passes are available for the four Open Championship qualifying courses at Barassie, Bogside, Prestwick St. Nicholas and now Dundonald Links. Saving up to 40% on the individual green fees these can be used over any 7 day period.

The Abbotsford has had its own PGA affiliated Golf Club since 1989 with club captain Alan Pole and front of house Paul Hunter, both active and enthusiastic golfers, regularly providing guests with their wealth of local knowledge. Within the Hotel itself we also have a secure Golf drying room. You can leave your clubs securely locked away while you're enjoying the evening's activities.

Practice facilities are also located nearby in Ayr, Prestwick or Turnberry. With Paul acting as your personal Golf Co-ordinator you can rest assured a well organised, hassle free golfing break for you and your party. We'll help you choose from the wide selection of golf courses, take care of your required tee-off time reservations and arrange all the necessary transportation to suit your needs.
