Originally built in 1916 as a private residence, the building later became the Iona Hotel before taking on the Abbotsford name in 1966.
Thoughtfully restored and remodelled in 2024, the hotel blends modern comfort with its original charm and character, creating a warm and inviting stay. Under the ownership of Brian Daly and Tina Daly since 2023, the Abbotsford has been carefully revitalised to preserve its distinctive Scottish spirit while offering all the comforts of a contemporary boutique hotel.
